I bought 5 copies of this book and could use 5 more. It is a great book to give as a gift to a friend or favorite family member. Tim's essays and stories really hit a cord with me and made me smile, something I don't get to do as much as I would like when I am reading. I highly recommend this book and look forward to the next book that he comes out with. I bet he would be a hoot to sit down and have a drink with!

Tim O'Shea is a wonderfully authentic and original comic voice. Self-deprecating to a fault, and relentlessly astute, he sees the absurdities of modern life as clearly as we all wish we did. This book is a great gift, with broad appeal.

In the overall this is a very funny telling of Tim's encounters with his parents and siblings over a wide range of years. There is an amazing degree of honesty in his telling of the many incidents. Nice to have a son who can use the English language with a flair. Rick O'Shea

I am only a quarter of the way through this book and I LOVE it. I literally laugh out loud at least every other page. He has a wonderful gift for descriptiveness.
