Dreaming Your world Into Being: The Shaman's Secrets To Having The Life You Desire Now Apr 05, 2009 I highly recommend this book. It is a very interesting and informative read that ranks Rasmussen amongst the greats who help people achieve their fullest potential like Deepak Chopra.

awesome book ! Aug 18, 2008 This book has been such a great help in all aspects of my life. I like it even more than the books I've read from other great teachers like Esther and Jerry Hicks and Deepak Chopra. Jon makes it easier to understand and fills in the missing pieces in a way that is simple and practical, yet so profound! I just couldn't stop reading this book! It's very well written and so unpretentious! I love his personal stories, and I want to read more!

Personal Shamanism Aug 12, 2008 Jon Rasmussen is a modern day Western shaman of the first order. His words blend the concepts of ancient traditions with the urgency of today's universal crisis in a way that speaks to the individual and our personal path to destiny. Jon's philosophy is playful and practical even while it addresses the issues that are core to us all. He shares all that he knows, distilled in an easy method based on the teachings of the shamans of the world. Whether you are just beginning your shamanic quest or are a schooled and practiced wisdom keeper, this book is a must read!

Great introduction to shamanism Jul 10, 2008 Readers new to shamanism will appreciate the author's honesty and directness as he introduces the principles and practices of modern shamanism, and recaps its history. He doesn't pontificate as an expert, even though he is; the genuine article.
More advanced students will also the enjoy anecdotes from his life and practice, and his positive views for the future. They illustrate how far these simple principles can be taken, are a good reminder to avoid the trap of negativity.
