From wimp to warrior - AN AMAZING READ! Nov 30, 2011
By Jeanine Rarely do I pick up a book and can't put it down! There have been many stories of women falling victim to deceitful men. In this book, it was amazing to see how a wonderful man could love so much and be blinded by the scam . This is a story of love, deceit then empowerment. This book will make you think twice before saying "I do!"

Modern Day "American Tragedy" Dec 03, 2009

Sometimes truth is stranger than fiction and in today's society, where people are often not what they seem, its not hard to buy that a nice man could be manipulated by a scheming femme fatale. The story is about his personal journey - from naive to knowing and someone who became a warrior. As people we are not perfect and we often see what we want to see. That's what is so special about Mr. Goldman's journey - he owns up to his weaknesses and deals with his shortcomings- then finds himself inside the nightmare of an international prostitution ring.
I give Duplicity an A on all fronts.

ridiculous... Nov 27, 2009

i was very disappointed that i spent money on this book-it is little more than a self-serving tale of woe from a man who has been taken in by a scheming woman...a woman who threw up enough red flags before the wedding that anyone should have seen...
i was stunned that he went ahead and married her after she made it clear she could not even get off her cell phone long enough to carry on a conversation with him, not to mention her apparent interest in his money and property...
and i think the fact that he was so taken in made him feel so foolish that he decided to go after her with an obsession, seemingly dropping all other parts of his life while he did so, though he assures reader constantly, to the point of boredom, how he never neglects his son throughout all this...
a bore of a private tale that should have stayed private. Sorry...not usually a harsh reviewer...but this book was not cheap and i was not pleased...

Why this man chose to tell his sad story escapes me, however I do feel sorry for his son for having such a poor role model as a father. So she broke your heart, wah wah buddy, please do your whining in the therapists office.

Very odd Jul 20, 2010

Don`t spend your money. This guy basically married a total stranger for the second time in a row, and then wonders what went wrong. He comes off very creepy and controlling, he mentions several times that he was 'looking for a new mommy for his son', so his view of a functional family is a little off, period. After the divorce he made it his duty to bring down what is supposedly a 'prostitution ring', and all with the help of a psychic (really). Someone else mentioned it before: this girl is not 'beautiful' as he claimed in his book.
