Quite expensive and VERY basic book.
Buy Fleming's book to get more value for money on this specific concept or look at books such as Harold Kerzner's PM: A systems approach, which costs about the same, has roughly 60 pages with much detail devoted to EVM and similar approaches (including case studies, exercises etc.) and gives you a whopping 1000 total pages on other aspects of project management.

This book is well done, and worth about $15.
This is a VERY short book - 85 pages, large print, lots of pictures. I had to check and double check to make sure I'd actually paid $55 for this? If I had had time to switch, I definately would have sent it back. There are much better values out there.

This book is an essential tool for many different types of businesses that need to keep track of projects/budgets. Very easy reading and gives simple, practical examples to help solidify each topic. Excellent book!

As a business owner trying to expand, I had been frustrated trying to keep track of progress on the various projects I was involved in. "EVM Demystified" in a simple, easy-to-understand way, "talked me through" sample projects, showing me how to use Earned Value Management to keep every one of my projects on track and within budget. It changed my life; I can't imagine doing business without it.
