Helpful Guidance for Moving Forward Nov 29, 2005

This book has a heartfelt simplicity and straightforward clarity that is a breath of fresh air in today's world of mental complexity.
I think the title is a little misleading, as 95% of the book is about expanding our perceptual awareness and opening our hearts to receive the love and support available to us from the Divine and also from our brothers and sisters who have already mastered the earth plane. There is also a lot of useful information about how life works in our particular dimension.
The channelings from Phylos are warm and supportive, and offer a different viewpoint on the current state of human conflict - more like growing pains than Armageddon - no fear or doomsday rantings.
It is very easy to read, and offers a good balance between passive and active participation (reading and guided meditations). The exercises seem to be designed to calm the mind, strengthen our intuitive muscles and open our spiritual hearts. In my experience, they are very helpful in that regard.
The only fault I found with the book was a physical one - the binding was weak and a few pages have come loose after one reading.
If you are a spiritual seeker of the heart, I think you would enjoy and benefit from this book.

If you have read and enjoyed the other books about Phylos--A DWELLER ON TWO PLANETS, AN EARTH DWELLER'S RETURN, THE GROWTH OF A SOUL--then this book is long overdue. Unlike the others in the series, there is no endorsement from the Lemurian Fellowship of Ramona, California. Instead, the channeled teachings pertain to living the metaphysically inclined life, succesfully, and in a higher consciousness style of thinking. You can be freed from limiting behaviors and thought patterns, and this book will lead the way. The two psychologists who recorded Phylos's thoughts were deep into their own spiritual journeys and yet took time out to share this channeled wisdom. Transendent thought, infused with practical suggestions for modern living.
