Captivated Reader Jun 20, 2004
By David Hignett This Book gripped and intrigued me from the first sentence: such that I needed to continue reading in order to understand better those things which had drawn me into it. The product of the author's imagination made me feel as though I was living a very real and deep experience.I am glad too that I chose to read it a second time, as new journeys and meanings came to me. I feel this has needed to be written; and I look forward greatly to further works. Without spoiling the story line for others, two scenes of perhaps extra-special magic remain with me. The first concerns a chemistry beyond the actual over a dinner with Mia the principal character and a Man - following a "chance" meeting. The second is Mia again, learning things beyond her experience from an elderly Church Caretaker. I assure potential readers that this novel has something special and different: otherwise I would not have been moved to start writing this.
Very Impressed Feb 08, 2005
By Very Impressed Written as a fictional work, this book is both a wonderfully gripping story and a rich source of astrological and astronomical insights. For anyone intrigued with the effects of celestial influences and in particular the lunar influences, this is a wonderful work. In particular, it prompts the reader to ponder the possible profound effects of eclipses on our planet. While the story is fictional, deeper messages are skillfully woven throughout the book. I couldn't put it down once I had started it. A great story, with profound messages for humanity make this a very special book.
