good ideas, needs editing Feb 01, 2010
By L. C. Crawford There is a wealth of great looking circuits in this text, but several circuits are repeated exactly in the TOC and in the text... for the second edition, a quick clean up of repetitive content would move this onto my recommended reading/resource list for electronics classes.
Good enough for me Dec 06, 2009
By Dr. Wung
""the builder""
This book is good enough for me. I found what I needed. Of course, I didn't expect the whole book to answer all of my needs. Besides, I might find some good use for few other circuits in the book in the future. So I added this to my personal collection.
So far, I am satisfied. The one or two projects that I found are worth the cost of the book.
Electronic Audio Circuits Sourcebook - an excellent reference Jun 21, 2008
By Steve Chen
"he who wants to know it all"
This book is one of those high quality books published by the same company. It boasts of crisp and professional illustrations and diagrams.
I am an avid collector of circuit and diagram books. I have bought them all, this one included of course.

audio electronics Jul 15, 2009

Not a bad book.
However many of the circuits have little pratical value
given the time and parts it takes to construct them.
Also, there is no explanation of the circuit topology.
Some of IC's used in the examples may be hard to find.

An alright book with useful circuits. Nov 23, 2008
By J. Mehrtens This book contains useful small circuits with brief explanations, and some semiconductor data in the back. Many have board layouts (Hi-Fi preamp not to scale), and one circuit, the AF generator, is printed twice.
