This book is a wonderful gift for caregivers of Alzheimer's sufferers. It is honest, emotional, readable and short enough that even those giving full time care to another will be able to get through it quickly.
I found it to be full of wisdom, hope, humor. It will let caregivers know "someone has traveled the path you're traveling."

I read this book in one sitting. I was amazed at the love, strength and compassion Ann showed throughout the process. Every Hospice that works with Alzheimer's patients should have copies of this book on hand to give to the caregiver. Ann does an incredible job of showing her husband's progress through this devastating disease, revealing her own emotions and feelings, and sharing practical lessons that she has learned through her experience.
Thanks, Ann, for selflessly sharing what you have learned in such a painful process!
