Enemy

Shaken by the crash landing of an alien vessel in the Pacific Ocean, humanity soon becomes embroiled in an ancient conflict that spans all of time and space. As a massive invasion force systematically dismantles the solar system and gathers Earth's survivors for harvest, a human resistance group from the future struggles to ensure a swift and final end to the conflict. Enemy is a story of war and the lives that it tears apart in its wake.

The winner of the 2002 Booksurge Editor's Choice Award, Enemy is the first book in the Silver trilogy by Paul Evan Hughes.

4A boy, a girl, the end of the world  Jan 13, 2004
By Jennifer Knighton
Isn't that how it always is? A boy and a girl at the end of the world. Hughes writes an emotionally gripping novel placed in a place out of space and time. With a twist around every corner, the basic story that runs true throughout. The Enemy and the Judas take you through a wonderfully woven tale.

4Good Stuff  Nov 12, 2002
By M. Scott
Hughes delivers a good sci-fi novel here. I won't go into the plot details, but you won't be disapointed. He has a very unique and magnetic writing style that keeps the reader interested throughout. It's a shame more people won't read this one. Recommended.
