Helps you think like a law student before you start classes Sep 28, 2009 This book may give you a head start on your classmates before you step into a classroom. There are plenty of tips to help first year students. You can get a pretty decent idea of what to expect your first year and some basic exercises/examples to help you start thinking like a law student. What you will not get, however, is help with the LSAT, or help with selecting or getting in to law school. This book basically assumes you are already admitted to law school. So, if you are still wondering if law school is the right choice for you, you can get some insight into what it is like, but really this book is aimed at people who are definitely going to law school and just want a leg up on the competition.
Brad Lord-Leutwyler's New Book Aug 18, 2009 I wish this book were around 20 years ago because it provides the reader with the knowledge and tools to know what is required to achieve your goals in a step by step process thereby eliminating pitfalls.
Also, this book is a great source for everyone, regardless of where you are in life but I think it's ideal for students in high school who are considering a career in law. It will prepare you for what's ahead in a realistic manner. It will give you a thorough outlook of the law profession thereby enabling you to decide if law is right for you.
Brad has a way with vivid and realistic examples that make the reader not want to put the book down.
Real Life Realities Aug 08, 2009 If you are interested in knowing the truth, and gaining a real world perspective about your upcoming journey to law school, then this is the one book you must have. Inside this book are slices of wisdom, humor and grass root realities that can help push your hopes into focus. I am grateful for the knowledge this book has leant me from the numerous credible sources within. Some specific areas that were helpful include, how to 'actively' read and brief a court case, debt minimization, as well as the assortment of legal and financial resources. After spending my first, of several afternoons with this remarkable resource, I felt empowered to render definitive decisions concerning my future. A definite must have for anyone considering a future in law.

GREAT BUY FOR FUTURE LAW STUDENTS!! Jul 27, 2009 This book has made the transition from my undergraduate studies to graduate law studies less stressful with the author's "THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE BEGINNING LAW SCHOOL!" It was very comforting to read about the real-life experiences of current lawyers and the things they wish they had known during their law school years.
