A Practical, Highly Useful Book Mar 11, 2009
By R. Carpenter There are numerous "cute" books on leadership and any number of "dry" academic studies. Ted Martin's "Exposing Leadership" is neither cute nor dry. Instead, this book provides practical and useful advice for those who lead or aspire to lead. Drawing on decades of practical experience in recruiting and observing successful (and unsuccessful) leaders, Mr. Martin's book provides insights on what makes up effective leadership. A highly useful book for everyone from first-line supervisors to, yes, CEOs.
A Recipe for Change Mar 11, 2012
By Brad I have to admit, I was hesitant to give a self-help book a real shot, yet Mr. Martin's insight into the business world was extremely useful for a person interested in the Executive search industry as well as business in the Fortune 500 arena. It's a tough world out there, but Mr. Martin's perspective helped me in the end to persevere.
