FIVE FAMILY PICTURES

Reading the five stories, we follow the same family in a space of ten years. In the first story, the boy narrator is five, and he tells about the day his father lost his job, and what made him discover that “man definitely cries”. In the second story, the same boy-narrator is seven, and he tells about the conflict he and his grandfather have with his father. In the third story, the same boy-narrator is seven too, and he tells about his jealousy, anger, solitute and suffering when his kid brother is born, and why they soon became best friends. In the fourth story, the kid brother is eleven, and tells a story that started when he was nine, about a conflict with his older brother, that is resolved only when he is eleven. And in the fifth and last story, the little sister, that in the forth story was just a baby, now is seven and she tells the funny and very emotional things that happen when she decided to give to her mother a present on Children´s Day.
