Wonderful. Outstanding. Fabulous! Nov 02, 2009

I just finished reading this book and have to say, I LOVED IT! The story is adorable, the characters absolutely loveable and their conflicts heartwrenching! I could not put it down until I had finished the entire thing. There are TONZ of twists and turns, they keep you guessing right until the very end! The humor that is laced throughout is wonderful too, so many funny things, when your not laughing out loud, your heart is breaking, or your fingers itching to flip pages as fast as you can to see what will happen next. I love Rich and Kate! Thank you Morgan!

Morgan Kearns thinks out of the box for this romance. This is not the standard "cookie cutter romance" novel.
Her story is thick with plot, and I truly did not know how it would all turn out. It kept me in suspense. The writing was fluid and the plot spellbinding. Once I started reading, it was hard to put down. The only reason I was able to put it down at night was because I was getting so tired, I was afraid I would miss something.
For whatever genre, you usually read, I recommend this book. The author has done an amazing job. I am looking forward to future books.

I always worry when buying a book from an unknown author- BUT- This author blew me away! Her clever and original story leapt off the pages and came to life the moment I started to read. Jesse, Kate and Rich became so real to me as I watched this story play out. This book is full of love, angst and humor. I couldn't put this book down- It is a story you will want to read over and over again.
I hope Morgan keeps writing because I will keep buying. I can't wait for her next story!

I absolutly loved this story you can relate to kate so well, and each of the other characters are people that you would want to get to know. You love rich and you love jesse and you feel for this decision she has to make. Well written and just a really great read.

This book was AMAZING. I have been so lucky with reading debut novels because I haven't come across a bad one yet. I was totally hooked from the first page. Rich Spencer and Kate Callahan were such relatable characters. They could actually be friends of mine that's how familiar they felt to me. You even feel for Jesse Vasquez Kate's current boyfriend at the start of the book but you also can't deny the chemistry of Kate and Rich. Rich's wife, at the start of the book, Shea Spencer is a character you dislike pretty much from the word go. She is a paranoid psycho who needs a reality check. Kate and Rich's co-workers Jordan, Olivia, Nate, Roxy, and Dale feel like one big extended family. Even though in the beginning of this book I really liked Kate and Jesse together but I also understood the complete and utter attraction of Kate and Rich. It was so strong that even I change teams from Jesse and Kate to Rich and Kate. I liked the fact that these two characters had to actually fight to get to their conclusion (don't want to give anything away....lol). This book had it all a forbidden romance, an unstable (at best) woman, a jealous boyfriend, heartache, and a happily ever after. Morgan is a great story teller and although I wish there was a little bit more of Shea's psycho mayhem I was completely taken with this book. On a scale from 1-10 I give this book a big huge 10. I think everyone should read this book that is how great I think it is.
