Faith Without Nonsense: For Those Who Believe, and Those Who Wish They Could
COWABUNGA... What a refreshing ride! I loved how the author skillfully navigated beyond skimming the surface of commonly held preconceptions of learning and truth and addressed, head on, the questions and concerns so many of us are accosted with concerning "the Faith". Logical, yet faith-filled, each chapter brought me a greater anticipation for "MORE"... "GIVE ME MORE!" WOW, well done!

Faith Without Nonsense - Simple, but Not Elementary Apr 04, 2009
By Sean M. Clouse Faith Without Nonsense is the first book I have read that addresses the basics of faith in a collegiate manor without bias toward the author's religious background or predisposition. I use the word collegiate not because the book is written at a college level, but rather that the topics are approached from a 'learning' point of view instead of one that simply reflects the firm stances of the writer.
So many authors have a position and spend the entire book convincing the reader to 'take their side'. Faith Without Nonsense pragmatically addresses many fundamental biblical topics in a way that the reader, if they are not overly biased themselves, can step back from their upbringing and take a fresh, substantiated look at topics on which they probably feel they have a firm position.
If you feel what you hear from the pulpit rarely goes deep enough to satisfy your search for the Knowledge of God, you will find Faith Without Nonsense to be invaluable.
