Faith and Family in the Tar Heel State: The Family of Ralph Peele & E. Lucile Swaringen Rogers

Ever since their ancestors settled in North Carolina in the early nineteenth century, the Ralph P. Rogers family has prized education, faith, and family. From 1895 until 1962 three generations of druggists served the communities of China Grove and Durham with a personal and ethical style of professionalism. Succeeding generations funded scholarships for higher learning and became civic leaders who made a positive difference in their communities. This book preserves the family’s history and genealogy and sheds light on the history of pharmacy in North Carolina.
