Fast & Furious Book Promotion

Fast & Furious Book Promotion was written to introduce authors to the many ways - tactics- to promote their books online. But as Sun Tzu said, without strategy, tactics are simply the noise before defeat. Fast & Furious gives authors both strategy and tactics to successfully promote their books using blogs, articles, press releases, social networking and many other tools.

1This book's only purpose is to further his self-publishing business  May 17, 2009
By Royce Payne
The book is literate but barely useful to anyone with even a basic knowledge of the Internet. The author makes his living in the self-publishing field at ZDocs and his idea of promoting a book is to promote a self-published book with the barest of details. Instead of "Fast and Furious" the book would have been better titled "Make me money by using my company to self publish your book." In short, a waste of time and money.

5Finally, a coordinated approach to book marketing  Apr 16, 2008
By Joseph G. Langen "Joe Langen"
Fast & Furious Book Promotion

I have been wading into the treacherous waters of book marketing, particularly using the internet. The more information I gathered, the more hopelessly I felt lost. Phil suggests how to develop goals, a target audience, strategy and tactics and helped me tie them all together in a coordinated marketing plan for my books. However he is not dogmatic and fully allows for individual styles. It is not a book of formulas. The information is equally useful for self published and traditionally published books since the main responsibility for promotion ultimately rests with the author. I breathed a sigh of relief and immediately started on what I expect to be a very productive foray into the wilds of internet marketing.
