Fatty: A Short Story

A young boy who was the grandson of a wealthy businesman lived a fairly normal life until the sinking of the family yacht causing the deaths of his entire family. Being the sole heir of the family's fortune he was able to endulge himself without restriction. By the time he was in his mid twenties, he was grossly obese and extremely bad tempered. One night after an evening of heavy drinking, he was insulted by an young, attractive woman who refused to talk to him because he was so obese. In the fit of anger that followed he made an offer of five million dollars to anyone who could make him lose 150 pounds. A doctor and his two assistants accepted the challenge and proceeded to accomplish the weight loss using very unusual methods which the young man found very disagreeable.
