great book, very impressed Oct 25, 2006
By angelwiing This was just what I needed. Very down to earth, easy read...it's a practical guide to how to get the checks without a lot of extra garbage. Also has samples, forms and funny little tips. I highly recommend it.

Perfect for growing nonprofits Nov 15, 2006
By S. Glikbarg I serve on the board of a nonprofit with some foundation funding, a few staff members and one government contract. This book is a perfect fit for an organization like mine - one that needs and wants to grow. Even for organizations that are larger, the insights on the role of board members and staff to work together are quite compelling and make this book worth reading. I bought this book as a gift for several Executive Directors and board members I work with. I think they will find it very useful.
Clear, simple and upbeat Jun 03, 2010
By ronnieblue This user-friendly guide takes the fear out of fundraising through clear language and accessible ideas. I've bought a copy for every member of the nonprofit board I serve on; as a group we have become much more energized in seeking financial support for the organization we're passionate about.
