FIDELITY TALES - an Insider's look at Lust, Greed and Betrayal at Boston's most Prestigious Financial Company as told through the Allegorical Tale KISIA AND THE VIKING! The author, who worked at Fidelity Investments for four years, takes a look at the inside workings of the giant company. But rather than name individual managers, he has written an allegorical tale set in the 10th century. His department head is depicted as the ruthless King Brianard of the Vikings. Other managers and employees are depicted as princes, warriors, monks, knights, and even slaves. The plot concerns an alliance and marriage agreement engineered by the Archbishop of Canterbury and the new Christian King of Poland to counter the growing might of the Holy Roman Empire. But when King Mieszko's daughter sets sail to meet her betrothed, King Brianard has his own idea for the Polish princess. So too does Brianard's son Bildar. And so too does the mysterious 'English slave with Viking name', Eric.
