Both practical and inspiring Dec 14, 2005

This book is an easy read that gives a lot of information in a very accessible format. I love the authors' practical, step by step approach. Their method of devising your "screen" is brilliant. This book made me feel I could really have success in online dating.

Not for the average woman... Feb 26, 2008

I think this book is for someone that just doesnt use the computer well and needs hand holding getting started and there really arent the kinds of tips most of us want suggesting how to write ads, interview prospective dates, dealing with the steps taken during the dating process, and generally addressing fears.
These ladies are very pretty, making it easy for them to find success. For those who are not raving beauties we want to know how to find the kind of man that suits us and how to deal with some of the problems we have like not being a size 4 or 6 and under 30. Though there were no similar tips relative to young women either really. Obviously these two were successful but their field was much larger to choose from because of their appearance and age.
The book has the same information duplicated three times based on 3 skill levels, is written with very few words, and cartoons and pictures and duplications take up all the pages. Not that many words are necessary for a well written instruction manual, but I found VERY little content in this book worth the time to flip the pages.
If I could have given this book a zero, I would have.

A Great Discovery Jan 31, 2006
By Anne As an experienced on line dater, this book was a great discovery. I finally got the direction and clarity I knew I was lacking but didn't know how to find. By really taking the time to fill out the "About Him" list, I discovered I haven't been honest with myself about the kind of guy I want to end up with. The detailed and probing questions made me really think about certain important issues for the first time. Prior to creating my Secret Screener questions, I had no strategy for getting information that could help me stop wasting time with someone who isn't right for me. No wonder I was getting so frustrated with the process. Reading this book and following the approach has given me a fresh start to on line dating and real hope that finding my mate is one step closer.

Smart, fun, gets down to business Jan 26, 2006
By Helena Wallace I bought this for a single girlfriend who tried internet dating briefly and gave up. The visual format made it such a fun and easy read, I ended up reading it myself. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the book focuses on women gaining as much clarity and insight into themselves as on their potential mates, which makes it a great dating guide, online or otherwise.

Courage in a Book Jacket Feb 24, 2006
By Kelly I've always been leery of online dating, because it seems like such a gamble--how do you really know who you'll end up across the table from (or how excruciating that might be)? But this book, with its very detailed strategies for determining what you really want, and how to narrow your focus toward getting it, has really inspired me.
