Boiling it down to basics for the Pro. Mar 15, 2007 Capt. Harper has taken a complex and broad reaching subject and put it into a concise progression of questions, decisions and actions. What makes this book unique among the many sources available is that any size department in any area can take this as a road map for progress and develop an affective set of training objectives and SOPs for the best interest of their personnel safety, department and their community.
No one book or standard can cover everything. This book can and will help any department put their efforts and resources (primarily their personnel) to the best use without wasting time and energy searching for guidance through volumes and volumes of technical information.
This is a great starting point/evaluation tool of any training program.
