An introspective view of fitness as compulsion. Jun 17, 2005
By Eli S. Chesen
"Eli Sagan Chesen, M.D."
This may be a little narcissistic, but, as the author of this book, I took an early contrarian's view of too much fitness, at a time, when "No Pain, No Gain" became an assumed, self-evident truth for many.
Indeed, there is another side to this story, reflected in the many orthopedic and psychiatric casualties of the fitness movement...Eli Sagan Chesen, M.D.
