C.A.L.M. Down! Jul 14, 2010
By LiteBlue Gator This is a great workbook to keep as a handy reference while you are trying to get yourself together for the real world. It can seem like a jungle out there when you need to get a job, or present yourself in the most professional manner for the next level. Mr. Patterson does a great job using his credentials to develop such an outstanding guide. If you want to become a successful job seeking warrior then this book is your hunting spear. He's got exercises, quizzes, references, and interviews techniques to minimize the frustration of trying to figure out where to start, and he takes the guessing out of what the professionals are looking for. It's time to put your best foot forward in life and career management.
Military personnel can use this guide to create a polished portfolio for career advancement, or selection to some of the finest schools, programs, and assignments the military has to offer. Why should I hire you? Is a question you will easily learn to answer. I bought one of his books for each of my college aged children to use as a handy reference as they prepare for a career in the workforce. Another benefit of this workbook is you can fill in the blanks with pencil, and continuously update your data as it changes. Additionally, in this age of electronic diversion you can download this book in digital format, and have it at-the-ready 24/7/365 via iPad, eReader, Kindle or other comparable device.
A MUST read if you're interested in a life change. Mar 28, 2010

Bob,
Thanks so much, once again. I have been inspired, AGAIN. My son and I traded off reading this new book and:
1) Within 6 months he's now in a different position at his work, a promotion, as he's discovered more of what he thinks he'd like to do and some of his hidden talents.
2) I have once again re-invented myself and am now in pursuit of what will carry me for the next 20 years in doing what I enjoy!
For those of you that have never explored yourself, your traits, your hidden assets, your unknown likes, this is a must read for you. I have changed careers twice now just because I listened to myself after talking to or reading Robert's book. Not only is the book great but so also is the person behind it. He is one of those rare people that really CARES about you and wants nothing except to help you succeed in life.
Thanks again!
