Amazing read Feb 12, 2009

What an amazing, informative, inspirational, fun read! I just finished Five and feel like I have a new outlook on life. I am so motivated to start really living and embracing any challenges that lie ahead. This book is about one young woman's journey battling cancer and life in general and always coming out ahead. It is funny and entertaining while at the same time being educational and awakening. If you enjoyed Eat, Pray, Love, this is a must read!
Truly Inspirational!!! Sep 11, 2009
By Tanya Bateman I've had this book for months and waited until the appropriate time to read it. Having said that, anytime is a good time to read it - it's truly an inspirational journey of Elizabeth's challenges and how's she's been able to remain positive and learn from everything life has put in front of her. I recommend this book to anyone and everyone. I wasn't intimate with the process of cancer but have a better insight into how it affected one woman and how she faced it - head on!
A Personal Journey Mar 18, 2009
By Allison Kenney

I have read this book from cover to cover and have jumped back into certain chapters to review her story as it is so touching to me. The letter from her mother, Alice, is one I have read multiple times.
My mother also died from breast cancer (when I was 28) and I have harbored sadness, loss, abandonment and fear of being stricken with breast cancer. This book shows Elizabeth's brave journey to fight her fears and to overcome inevitable obstacles. Her story and the courage she has to tell it has given me great hope and encouragement to face my fears.
I thank her eternally for sharing her life and for giving us all courage to deal with our realities.
