Disappointing Jun 07, 2009 I couldn't wait to get this book and I have to say as I read ut I kept going huh, what? Huh, this doesn't make any sense. How does a woman that gets divorced meets a man that is Korean and becomes her best friend and then he gets married to someone else and she starts dating a black man with a secret past. Her children love her best friend that saver her life at some point who is madly in love with her but he marries another...HUH?
Then Ms Lady marries the mystery man and she contacts his aunt to come to their wedding the next thing someone is trying to kill her husband. She moves with the mysterious husband to the Carribean and then she returns and starts an affair with her best friend whose wife is pregnant or something like that happens.
Sorry for the ramble...the story wasn't what I was expecting to read.

Outstanding Sep 23, 2008 A touching love story of how love is patient and enduring. Sonny has loved Mia since he has known her. The timing for them just never seemed to be right, when he was free - she wasn't and vice versa. But that does not stop him from being supportive to her and her sons. When Mia marries Sonny's good friend, it cause dynamics and changes to their relationship, but in the end - true love wins. It's a read worth your while.

For The Love of a Good Book Jun 16, 2008 This was my first book by this author, & I was very impressed. The story line had me changing my loyalty from chapter to chapter. I could not put the book down. I am a fan of interracial romance (bw*wm) and this book is up there in the top ten. For the Love of Mia
