 A must for traveling men Sep 06, 2008
This book is a must read for men to read before traveling to Thailand. I have been there many times, and this book nails the Thai womwen right on the head !!!--hillarious, and fun, to read !!!

I've traveled the world and visited SE Asia several times. Unfortunately, the book (in my opinion) was poorly written and illustrated and just not that humorous. Had it been worthy, I intended to share with a friend who
has traveled to Thailand many times. Instead, I ended up throwing the book away. Everyone has a different
opinion, I'm sure, but it wasn't my kind of book...it seemed rather amateurish. But to each his/her own!

If you are going to Thailand for the first time, you owe it to yourself to buy this book. It is true you can go to many free forums on the Internet and get similar information. However, this is the best book I have seen for explaining Thai/Westerner relationships for first-timers to the Land of Smiles. This book will save you many headaches and culture shock. Think about it, would you rather spend $20 for a book or potentially lose all or most of your money to a relationship gone bad?

At first sight of this book, i wondered if it really would be as useful as i expected it to be or not. Once i decided to buy it, i sat down with it and read the whole thing in just a few hours,and really enjoyed what it had to offer. There are things in this book that i already knew about,having been to Thailand before,but what i most liked about the book was towards the back of the book there are some 5 pages or so that give you some basic Thai phrases that are very easy to learn and understand.I really had fun reading this book.

I would be skeptical about any book claiming knowledge about Thai ladies but Barry's title clues you in on what's inside. It's a comedy and a parody about the unbelievable things that can happen to you when you get involved with the sexy women of Thailand. It's a huge laugh but best of all it's a great sigh of relief for anyone who has ever got caught up in the shenanigans of these girls. For the uninitiated it's an illustrated handbook of all the things in store for you despite your best efforts. Find a cozy corner in Pattaya, get a beer and have a look.
