a whirlwind journey on the search for love, in any form Jul 29, 2008

Maria Lee's first novel, Forget Me Not, is truly an interesting read that many a reader can identify with fully -- the average person's yearning for a meaningful love relationship. Along the way, the main character, Jessica, candidly experiences high highs and unstable lows as she makes her way through daily life -- from disappointing spouses and elicit affairs to everyday office politics and finally falling in love with quite an unexpected choice. This book is definitely great reading for anyone who's ever experienced the painful experience that is the human condition of love!

Forget me not? Jul 29, 2008
By Samuel Yuen I don't usually read a book all in one hit but did this one in an evening - some enjoyable reading. This book is both serious and funny. Serious as it explored life and its meaning from many perspectives - family, childhood, friendship, trust, relationship, love and emotion, and managed to integrate them all in a reflective way. Funny as it is written with lot of humour. Not for you if you are looking for a Cinderella story. Good reading if you are ready to share Jessica Young's emotion and struggle in looking for her fulfilling love.
Don't miss this book! Aug 23, 2008
By U. Nilsson This book is really fascinating to read. It is written in the format of a dairy and describes the life of Jessica and her search for a meaningful relation in her life. It feels totally honest and very convincing. I can definitely recommend it if you are looking for a book full of humor but also with thought provoking views on life in general. Once I got started it captured me and I had a hard time even taking a break.
It was recommended by a friend and I am really glad I read it, and in fact I have already reread parts, some for a good laugh and others to reflect again a bit on life. I hope there are many more to follow from this author and I'll be waiting up for the next one!
