Freedom Reigns: The WWII Orphan's Quest (With excerpts from AAF 1945 WWII Book)

Timing has been the key to everything. After a life of sadness, I found peace on a mountain. There in front of me was the pilots seat my father died in. I felt an intense pain as I touched it and instantly felt a peace I had never known.

5Midwestern girl's life and times and search for her Roots  Feb 17, 2005
By K. Olson
This book is very straightforward and direct. The author tells of her memories growing up, her unusual adventures as an adult, and the search for her father's story which she feels helped her pull it all together. Really an interesting story. The extra stuff about the AAF was a little distracting, and may have been better as an afterword or appendix. Copy editing was a little rough too but the story was very compelling and made up for the small distraction there.
