Frieda's Locket

This book is an American story rarely told. Frieda Brierley, a twenty year old German immigrant, follows her brother and her dreams to America in 1911. Her hopes and dreams for love and happiness are fulfilled only to be destroyed by unforeseen forces that she is neither prepared for or understands. Only her locket, a gift from her parents upon leaving Germany, reveals the secret double life she was forced to live. Frieda's Locket is based on a true story.
