There's rarely a new twist to the old vampire story, but Suzon found at least one. Suzon had me copy edit the manuscript but, truthfully, it needed nothing more. The characters are complex and beautifully constructed; the structure/pacing is perfect. The first time I touched it, I stayed up half the night to read to the end.
This is one of the best vampire fiction novels I have ever touched -- as editor or reader.
