Gary's Story

Gary has always had a taste for adventure. At 8 years old he ran away from home and when found he announced that he was off to Africa! Now Gary is married to Tracey, has two sons, two granddaughters and lives in Norfolk, England. As a younger man he served in the British Army, but got kicked out for a drink problem and joined the French Foreign Legion. Again trouble followed and was discharged so he returned to England where he moved into the YMCA. After meeting Christians for the first time he decided to take the plunge and follow Jesus. Since then Gary has travelled to more countries than he'd ever imagined. Russia and the Siberian gulags, Africa to preach, south American prisons and Eastern European stadiums to preach to thousands, and recently Bible smuggling into China and ministering to the underground church there. Also Gary has been to North Korea, a nation dear to his heart. This is a thrilling true life account of how one mans life was turned around by God.

5A true life story - from dispare to insperation  Apr 03, 2010
By A. J. Van Heerden "buksiekykfliek"
I was fortunate to have met Gary on a journey where he touched many with his profound passion. This book is about deep felted pain of lonelyness, hurt, wrong choices, alcohol abuse, and hopelessness. With an acute fear of the God Bashers and no desire to come even close to religion, his life was touched to such an extend that everyone reading this book will experience some of it.
