Geocache

A pilot flying solo across the Austrian Alps intentionally flies his high tech aircraft into a cloud filled canyon. A computer specialist leaves his snow bound car to walk further into the Black Forest in a driving snow storm. They have an appointment they dare not miss. A constellation of satellites circling the earth is guiding them to ground zero. But why? Across the globe in a Denver office tower five of the wealthiest men on earth are meeting to plan a world class geocache event. Their exclusive treasure hunt will turn deadly in an instant. Victoria Cavanaugh, chief of security for the chairmen of the Global Geocache Society must search Europe to find the one person who can save his life. In Lyon France, her astonishing beauty disrupts Interpol headquarters as she and Inspector Sean Mason take a walking tour of the General Secretariat. Mason has issued an Interpol Code Purple warning. He knows a predator is prowling Europe. He trusts no one. Not even Victoria.

2Good story not represented well  May 03, 2012
By Spywall ""Outside of a dog, a book is a man's best friend; Inside a dog, it's too dark to read..." G. Marx"
All in all, a good story... but the book is poorly edited. Mis-use of "there" for "their", a whole chapter repeated and a reference to an American rock & roll band called The Dan Mathews Band... Really? Come on! If you are going to brag in the introduction about how well researched your book is and how all of the coordinates listed are real, couldn't you get the name of the band the writer name dropped correct? It's the DAVE Matthews Band. Things like this destroy the credibility and integrity of an otherwise good story. This would have been a REALLY good read if not for the clumsiness of the publisher.

4Great book - a review from an additcted geocacher  Nov 20, 2007
By Dennis L. Tatum "ratherghohiking"
This was a great book about geocaching! I am an addicted geocacher myself (refer to [...] my geocaching name is rathergohiking) and have been waiting for a novel about geocaching to be published and finally got my wish granted. My only complaint is that the book was too short! The story line is great. This was a good effort by a first time author. I guess the next time I go out in a remote location in the woods to find a geocache in a snow storm, I'll be sure to watch my back! At the very least, I'll bring Spot, my geocaching hound dog for protection and be wary of caches that have huge rewards for first-to-finders.

4A Great Story with Accurate Details  Apr 30, 2007
By Ken "BushPilot"
This first effort by experienced aviation businessman, Errol Bader, offers a good balance that will satisfy both the aviation enthusiast and the action-adventure fan. Geocache moves quickly all the while offering sufficient background "scenery" to give the story depth, while crafting a believable yet intriguing story with remarkably good character development and a story line that is contemporary without flogging the same old themes too often populating the book store racks. If you are tired of stories about rogue terrorists plots, government corruption, Knight Templar or "chick-flick" Kleenex novels, then Geocache is a wise choice. As a self published first effort, Mr. Bader offers a light, yet fast paced read that more than makes up for a lack of slick packaging and seamless editing of the big publishing houses. Thankfully intelligent and creative fiction continues to break through, and Geocache is one of these.

3Very Good Book For a First Time Author  Apr 11, 2007
By Orville
Geocache is a fast read & an excellent story. Combining money, murder, mystery & world travel it offers the reader a fast paced story that keeps you guessing until the climax. Although the end seemed to come somewhat abrubtly, I certainly hope Mr. Bader will continue his literary pursuits as I believe he'll do nothing but improve with time. This book would make an EXCELLENT movie & I hope that happens.

5Great Read!  Mar 30, 2007
By Richard Watson "Book Lover"
The development of the characters and the sense of place were remarkable. Can't wait for the author's next book.
