1Weak book  Aug 04, 2008
When I read the title, I thought I was getting a whole book on the Geo Bee. Instead, there are just a few pages of personal insights by the author, the father of a Geo Bee winner that did not make it all the way to the National Finals. This would be fine in and of itself if the author had much helpful to say, but it doesn't come across in this book. The bulk of this small book is trivia questions which might or might not be helpful to those pursuing the Geo Bee. Save some money and buy one of the Rosenberg books that does a much better job than this poor attempt. Very sorry I bought it.

5A Great Geography Bee Preparation book!  Mar 12, 2008
A "must" for all geography bee participants who have high aspirations!
What an excellent resource full of questions that are challenging and not outdated like other similar books on the market relating to this topic. It is extremely user friendly with questions categorized into different continents, up-to-date current affairs and physical geography. As a parent of a state winner I would highly recommend this book for anyone going to the state or national geography bee. These questions teach students how to think and analyze, such as those asked at state and national levels. Ram Iyer has done a wonderful job in compiling these questions, a task that I'm sure contributed to the success of his son's top ranking in the National Geography Bee in 2007!

5Must Have for All the GeoBee Aspirants!  Mar 04, 2008
An Excellent Resource for all the Geography Bee Competitors.
Mr. Ram Iyer has put all his knowledge as an excellent GeoBee Guide to his son who was 2nd place winner in National 2007 GeoBee competition. The Quizzes are categorized in various sections and they help students to grasp important geography facts as well as prepare them for the GeoBee Competition.
A must have for all the bright students who want to win their School, State or National Geography Bee.

5Demystified  Mar 02, 2008
Geography Bee Demystified by Ram Iyer is a wonderful preparation guide for state and national geographic bee. This is a very informative and insightful compilation of questions/answers by a geography enthusiast. Mr. Iyer has personally experienced each level of bee as a coach to his son. The book is divided into different chapters and each chapter contains bee-type questions which give a stimulus to open the atlas for a geo-journey. Helpful resource.

5Great guide! Why is this guide a secret?  Feb 27, 2008
Most of the previous well-publicized books, "1001 Questions" and the "Official Guide" are only first steps. They will help win your school bee. However, this is the guide you need to win the State Bee or the National Bee. It has nice sections on each and every continent. It has hundreds of questions on all of them. It has a good section on U.S. geography. Last, but not least, it has a physical geography section and current affairs section. Current affairs questions are from 2007. I think this is a nice question and answer guide. And, mind you, questions are challenging. And, it comes from someone who has seen the National Bee.
