5Great guide! And noticeable improvement!  Feb 27, 2008
By Geobook Analyzer
Most of the previous well-publicized books, "1001 Questions" and the "Official Guide" are only first steps. They will help win your school bee. However, this is the guide you need to win the State Bee or the National Bee. This guide was reviewed last year and was a "worth buy" then. This revision is definitely an upgrade and it has only gotten better. Whatever was lacking last year seems to have been been addressed effectively. Treatment of Asia, Europe, USA and World Affairs by itself is definitely worth the money.

5Awesome Book for the serious geography bee contestant  May 05, 2009
By D. Desai "dd"
My son has been a National Geography Bee contestant and a school winner for the last 4 years and has participated in National Geography state competitions every year - but he made it to the national competition only last year. Every year he would ask me to create questions for him to test his knowledge - an exceedingly difficult task for me so I searched Amazon and found 1001 questions a geography bee preparation book - a book which helped him to prepare for the school and California state bee.

Last year I was extremely happy to see Geography Bee Demystified at Amazon and my son used it to prepare for the National level. This book took his preparation to a higher level and added to his knowledge of geography. This year the author has published a 2nd edition that is even more comprehensive. We are extremely happy to see this book in the market and we hope it helps foster interest in people, places, and culture for many other kids as it did to mine.

5Excellent book for State and National Geography Bees  Apr 09, 2009
By Ljubljana "geolover"
I read "Geography Bee Demystified" 2nd Edition from cover to cover. I strongly recommend this book to all the kids preparing for State and National Geography Bees. There are lots of good books on Geography Bee. But, only "Geography Bee Demystified" can take you to the next level. It has separate sections on all continents, Current Events and Physical Geography. It helped my daughter a lot. The author did a very good job in framing the questions. You can see his experience and command on the subject in every question. I would like to thank him for giving such a wonderful gift to all Geography Bee kids.

5A Great Geography Bee Preparation book!  Mar 12, 2008
By SS "Geoparent"
A "must" for all geography bee participants who have high aspirations!

What an excellent resource full of questions that are challenging and not outdated like other similar books on the market relating to this topic. It is extremely user friendly with questions categorized into different continents, up-to-date current affairs and physical geography. As a parent of a state winner I would highly recommend this book for anyone going to the state or national geography bee. These questions teach students how to think and analyze, such as those asked at state and national levels. Ram Iyer has done a wonderful job in compiling these questions, a task that I'm sure contributed to the success of his son's top ranking in the National Geography Bee in 2007!

5Must Have for All the GeoBee Aspirants!  Mar 04, 2008
By S. Srivastav
An Excellent Resource for all the Geography Bee Competitors.

Mr. Ram Iyer has put all his knowledge as an excellent GeoBee Guide to his son who was 2nd place winner in National 2007 GeoBee competition. The Quizzes are categorized in various sections and they help students to grasp important geography facts as well as prepare them for the GeoBee Competition.

A must have for all the bright students who want to win their School, State or National Geography Bee.
