Gestapo 2000

This is a story I never wanted to write but the event was so outrageous and the right material for a book. Doing business with Germany can be hazardous to your mind. This is a true story, my story, of extortion, the greed and the stupidity of a group of low level officers working for the German tax office wielding nearly unlimited power to make up allegations to conduct an all-out investigation, turning every fact into fiction just to enhance their case to be presented to the court system to get an arrest warrant to hold a person in "detention pending investigation" and then to illegally extort documents.

Even so, the documents obtained illegally and under duress were proof of my innocence, but totally ignored, just like the Gestapo did with people in the 1930s and 1940s It was a 10-year battle and, in my mind, a resurgence of the Gestapo all over again, but an updated version.
