Get the Best Car Deal: Don't Get Ripped Off

ARM YOURSELF! Car dealers want only one thing; to get you to spend as much as they possibly can on a car. Unless you know what to look for, it is very difficult to tell whether you are getting the best possible deal. There is never “one” price for any given car. The price the dealer wants is “all the money.” In other words, the most that they can get you to spend on a particular vehicle. The price that they will actually sell a car for depends on the day and the circumstances. What they will sell a car for on a Tuesday that happens to be the last day of the month is probably very different from what they will sell it for on a Saturday morning, early in the month. If you want to get the most value for your money, you need inside information. This book will take you inside the car business. It will give you the lingo, let you in on secret tricks and techniques that car dealers train their employees to use to get you to over pay far a car. This book will not tell you which car to buy, which car has the best features or which is the best value. But when you do decide which car you want, this book will help you GET THE BEST CAR DEAL. Have you ever been at a car dealership and felt like there was something that they weren’t telling you? Did you feel like they had an “ace up their sleeve” and no matter how hard you tried, somehow they were going to rip you off? YOU WERE PROBABLY RIGHT! But fear no more. The information in this book will give you an edge that no car dealer wants you to have. Inside information about how it works, what they mean when they say certain things and traps to avoid. This book explains in a simple, straight forward way how to avoid getting ripped off and how to get the most for your car buying dollar.

1Incoherent and useless  Oct 12, 2009
By Briguypolisci
If one is looking for a book that will explain in clear and concise terms the process of buying a new car and what to look out for DO NOT purchase this book. There was no rhyme or reason as to the set up of the book. Its as if the editor of the book simply collected various phrases and business terms he had overheard car dealers expound on and strung them together at odd intervals. For the novoice car buyer, what benefit is it to be exposed to this esoteric verbage? Important topics that car buyers need to be informed on were completely absent. For example, at no point was the negotiation process discussed. Important concepts such as the difference between invoice and msrp were ignored. Curious about what to get the most out of a test drive? Sorry, never mentioned in this useless drek.

In short, this book is a joke and should be avoided by everyone interested in getting the best car deal.

5I hate buying cars  Jul 31, 2009
By Chelsea M "Chels"
Seriously thank you for such a good book. I have had so many horrible experiences buying cars. It used to be fun until the last few vehicles puchases ruined that. For people like me that would probably get walked all over by the car salesmen this book was perfect. I would give this to all of my sisters and girlfriends to read. I completely recommend this book to anyone buying a car that isnt familiar with the processes behind the scenes.

5Best car buying guide!  Jul 28, 2009
By Mary C. Washburn "Chere34"
This is the best car buying guide I have ever read. It gives you tips from an insider point of view and tells what to expect from car dealers. I would recomend you arm yourself with this book before buying your next car. It also gives you tips on how to beat the car dealer at their own game, it will save you time and money.
