1This is a pathetic excuse for a book.  Sep 23, 2009
By K. Ramsey
I am really dissapointed in my purchase of this book. I flipped through it immediately upon arrival and found it was not much more than a bullet-point discussion of bullies. I could have written this book in a single night or two. There is almost no help here for parents of kids or teens being bullied. Nor is there much in the way of strategies for the kids who are being bullied. Honestly, there was more on profiling the bully than there was on the bullied and how to help them - which is the problem in the first place: people focus on the bullies and why they do what they do and how THEY are the ones that need help, etc. This just perpetuates the problem. I felt belittled, used and manipulated by the publisher and the author for buying this book. Isn't THAT what bullying is? I strongly recommend you FOREGO the purchase of this book.
