1Not recommended  Jul 16, 2009
I cannot recommend this book. Dr. Simpson totally contradicts himself from one chapter to the next. For example, he clearly states in one chapter "do not eat until you feel full" explaining eating until you feel full is eating too much and then in another chapter talks about satiety and tells you to eat until you are full (within the time limit imposed). One of his golden rules is to only eat 3 meals a day with NO snacks in between and yet the meal plan examples he provides in the book includes 2 snacks a day. This is just two examples, but I found many more. How can you apply any of the principles with all the contradictions? I actually returned the book the day after I received it, I was so disappointed.

4Generalized information  Mar 12, 2009
The book is generalized and not complicated to understand. With that being said, however the book is nothing more than a regurgitation of "Losing the Last 30 pounds by the same author. If you have either book, save yourself some money, you don't need the other.
