3Suspenseful with a Twist  Oct 28, 2011
By Trina Chase
This book was very well-written and full of suspense. The storytelling was so descriptive; you could actually picture everything the author was describing. The two main characters, Mike & Tonya, were thrown together by tragedies caused by the same greedy crook. Mike suffered the loss of his partner, fiancé, and burns on one side of his body. Tonya lost her career and confidence. As they began spending time together and working side by side, the chemistry was so strong, you could almost feel it coming off the pages. When they realized they both had the same goal in mind, to take down the dirty crook, they were a team determined on accomplishing their goal. However, they were unsure who to trust because he seemed to have everyone on his payroll.

This book was a page-turner because I never knew what was going to happen next. There was a surprising twist at the end that was unexpected but played a major role in the story.

5Great Story Line  Sep 28, 2011
By Diane Shaner "basket bunny"
This was a very well written book, a great story line and surprise twist near the end. Finally a book that has absolutely NO offensive language and no graphic sexual content. Leave that up to my imagination, that makes a book more exciting to me. The lead characters, Tonya and Mike seem so real and the tension of having someone or something sneaking around the house made me jump at the slightest noise.

This was a really great read and I am heading over to buy her second ebook right now!
