Gilman's Parallel -- More is better Sep 22, 2009
By Thomas E. Erikson This YA fantasy starts fast with two parallel worlds, one with magic, one "real" like ours. Boyer throws in all the mythic-religious ingredients you can think of: fairies & Lucifer, the Holy Grail & gnomes, angels & orcs, the Antichrist & Merlin, and a lot more. But it is not too much, it just actually adds to the fun. Still, the young hero grapples seriously with serious issues of identity and responsibility - so there is substance with the fireworks. A great read for older kids and a kick for adult fantasy fans.
Magical, Mistical and Fantasy Dec 13, 2009
By Donna Harris I met Mr. Boyer at a book review where he was the guest author. He was as magical as his book is. I loved his presentation, bought his book and was thrilled with it. His book has all the qualities that I want in a book. The travels, the mystery, fantasy and great reading material. I read it in one day and loved every fast paced moment and was fasinated by the imaginative charactors. I can't wait until he publishes his next one.
amazing, couldn't put it down Nov 28, 2009
By C. Kurke The book starts off fast and dives into parallel words of real and surreal environments. Unique and intriguing with an original prose of intense imagination.
You know this book will be made into a movie.

I loved this book. It is filled with thought, inspiration and action. Robert brings to life the characters in the most enjoyable way. Not only bringing to us the worlds of fantasy, spirituality and mysticism there is a deep message for the indiviual to claim their own identity and potential. Great read for everyone.
