A sceptible critique morphed into unqualified kudos Jan 06, 2010
By Marty Teitelbaum With an economy of words and focus points, the author contentions are not only provactive, but downright compelling. He melds a distinct knowlege of the sciences of geology, astronomy, and simplified chemistry with a scholarly grasp on Scripture and sprinkles it with historical chronology. The result is a refreshing and incitiful look at the absolute splendor of G-d's unfathomable creation constrained by a morality that with every stroke of the brush.
As a knowledgeble and imperfectly practicing Jew with a firm grasp on the aforementioned sciences, I began my own inquisition with a challenging eye to discovering faultlines to vigorously critique. At journey's end on page 27, I exited humbled by the author's exclipsing knowledge, but moreover, inspired by the message. I also exited a better person.
To me, the greatest leap of faith is to deny G-d's undeniable hand in this thing we call the universe and this thing we call life itself. You have my undeserved sympathy. To Mr. Fox .. you have my thanks and admiration. Write on -- right on.
