4I thought I was on ship...  Nov 08, 2009
I thoroughly enjoyed living aboard the USS Reeves and travelling along with Roger as he travels the world. Reading the book gave me a sense of adventure and made me really want to live on a ship to actually have the naval experience. You meet a host of his friends and acquaintenances through out his year long stint, from the captain of the ship, to his fellow sailors. Overall a good read and I would recommend it as leisure reading to anyone.
