Fantasic story with great illustrations Oct 19, 2009 Little Joey asks Grandpa to read him their special book every time he goes to Grandpa's house. Joey and his grandpa love the time together. Great illustrations.

Granddaughter likes this too! Sep 28, 2009 I bought two of Grandma Sue's book for each of my grandsons. But whenever I read it to my grandson, my granddaughter climbs on my lap and listens too. It pertains to her relationship with her grandpa as well. Grandparents have a special relationship with their grandchildren and need to build that bond while they are young like Austin in the book. "Grandpa, Do It! I Do It, Too". exemplfies that relationship. Thank you, Grandma Sue!Grandpa, Do It! I Do It, Too!

Uh Oh! Grandson has woken up - here we go! Sep 20, 2009 This book had me smiling from the off. Little Austin is first shown snoozing. Then his eyes ping open and Grandpa Ron had better be ready to amuse and entertain his energetic grandson. The endearing thing about this book is that it shows how the most ordinary, everyday activities are all fresh and new for Austin. Buying the newspaper is occasion for a hand-in-hand stroll for these two buddies. Having a rest is one of many chances for Austin to try to copy what he sees Ron do, stretching his short legs. For the toddler everything is new and exciting, not least because Ron has carefully chosen the day's activities to include trains, swimming and looking for jellyfish. There is no dialogue in the book - it is Austin's 'voice-over' - but you can just imagine an unending series of questions being met with unending patience. I'm not the only reviewer to see what a lovely gift this book will make. I know I will be buying it for Grandad Tom and the two little Toms.

Grandma Sue captures all those special moments Sep 14, 2009 The author has truly channeled both the wonderment and empowerment of a young boy who loves and learns from his Grandpa through observation and awe. You can't help but smile with each page as this sweet pair enjoys the simple things in life, together. Very easy to read for a younger child, and the pictures/illustrations are cute.

Great story of a boy's love for his Grandpa! Sep 12, 2009 This story takes you back to what it's like to be a little child, spending the day with your grandparent (Grandpa, in this case).
The little boy wants to be just like his Grandpa and do all he does. It's a heart-warming tale, and the pictures make you feel like you're there.
