Think of the illustrations of the first books you read,and re-read. Remember the pleasure they still bring you? 'Grandpa Philip's ABC' enters into this realm. A fine and sturdy book.

I loved this book. Reading it makes me want to sink into a big overstuffed chair next to a roaring fire, and read to my son as the rain taps against the window pane. This book brings so many lovely memories back to me when my son was little and I got to read him to sleep.
Please buy this book. It is so lovely and heartfelt. The illustrations are so sweet and fun, and this would be a keepsake for any family who treasures reading to their children.

I enjoyed this book so much, gone is the photoshop versions of illustrations. The handpainted illustrations we done with such loving care and are absolutely beautiful. Takes me back to when I was a child learning my ABC's. A wonderful book for any young child! Highly recommend.
