Grant me love and understanding for who and how I am Sep 06, 2008
By JolopeDotCom I understand that it's a Buddhist Proverb that says, "when the student is ready, the teacher appears." If you keep that in mind, you will likely buy this book when you are ready to learn about yourself and the dynamics of relationships that drive you...and sometimes drive you crazy! I haven't read all of this book yet - it is quite lengthy - however, the length is really a non-issue, as the parts that I was ready for I inhaled quickly. The ones that perhaps were the most challenging for me, not so much. This isn't likely to be an easy read at times (because of how it affects you personally, not because of the writing style), but let that be an invitation to read it, instead of a deterrent, as the greatest rewards tend to come from the the greatest challenges. Sometimes we can push through and sometimes we need to wait because we are not yet where we need to be to fully comprehend the gift we have been given. Cindi's book is a true gift, and the best part of the gift is that in the process of reading it, I get to unwrap myself.

"This book is the Bible of Relationships!!" Dec 12, 2008
By Dominique Francon Expansive in scope and size this massive testament to the healing power of forgiveness and the eternal spring of hope encompases every aspect of Love and relationships as well as offering invaluable tools for the excavation of one's innermost self from under lifetimes of wearing masks upon masks. For those who are finally ready to leave the masquerade ball once and for all Ms. Sansone-Braff lays the groundwork for ushering in a new paradign as we evolve from the dogmatic age of pisces to the authentic and soulful age of aquarius. Grant me a higher love is an integral signpost on the often slippery slope to enlightenment.
One of the most innovative ideas in this book is that of mirror souls. We have all heard of soul mates and many are familiar with the holy grail of relationships The Twin Soul but how many of us have ever heard of mirror souls? I know of no other book that even hints at this phenomenon, yet once you are aware of this concept I guarantee you will see evidence of it in countless books, movies, and maybe even in your own life. This is just one of many thought-provoking topics broached in this profound work. Grant me a higher Love will leave you riveted as it guides you to peel back the layers of your psyche at your own pace and within the safe embrace of the angels that this magnum opus will surely bring into your life.

The More You Know, The Higher You Go Oct 14, 2008
By Susan M. Bardsley
"Susan"
I just finished Cindi Sansone-Braff's book Grant Me A Higher Love, which was recommended to me by a close friend. There are books for entertainment and then there are books for learning and explaining why we do the things we do and how we can improve. Cindi's book is the latter that is a necessary manual of love that should be referenced over and over again. Studying and learning about our love relationships with others as well as ourselves should be at the top of all of our lists. Her definitions are adroit and insightful
This is a wonderfully optimistic read as she shows a way to higher love, stating that "Hope is the undying feeling that what we wanted and wished for can be had, and that things will turn out for the best despite everything".
She gently guides the reader to important realizations, such as "The "parental myth" that perpetuates the idea that our parents are responsible for all our failures, neuroses and shortcomings, is another grave Error in Thinking that is very prevalent in our society today". That along with "If you see a recurring negative pattern in your relationship, stop blaming the other person" and that it's so important for us to take responsibility for our actions and thought process. She explains that we are responsible for what happens to us in the future, regardless of what has happened to us in the past and that external events and people bring forth only what's already there. Also pointing out that we're only responsible for our own behavior. It was comforting to read her explanation that we don't always attract everything bad or negative that comes to us. In the crowded world in which we live on occasion we'll unexpectedly bump into others.
In addition to describing all the different types of love and the phases it can go through, with highs, Cindi also goes in depth into what can be the lows and that these are all lessons that we need to learn and experience. Although she clearly points out what should be painfully obvious, caringly stating that "The universe doesn't expect you to stick around and learn your lessons while someone is beating the hell out of you", figuratively and literally.
I was impressed with how she uses simple exercises like The Lovework Assignments to get us to see what our past has brought us and what may or may not be working now and what will work in the future.
She intuitively quotes from "A course in Miracles" throughout her book and when she mentions a particular subject she helpfully references many other books that go more in depth of the referenced material.
Reading this book has made me realize how far I've come from my earliest puppy love with the girl next door to where I am now. All in all this is a great read which we can all learn from. Thank you Cindi for Caring and Sharing. George C. Keefe

A Higher Love - A Soul Searching Exploration That is Bound To Change You Sep 06, 2008
By Shira Younger
"Shira Y."
Grant Me A Higher Love is undoubtedly a Must-Read!
This is a unique book that takes you on an exploration of thy self.
Page after page, you'll find yourself laughing, crying, questioning, and accepting yourself for life lessons that you have learned but haven't necessarily acknowledged prior to reading this sensational book. Use the collective wisdom that Cindi has channeled to bring your life path to a higher love. Don't be fooled by the title, this book isn't just about romantic love, it's about a journey of love that encompasses all relationships (platonic and romantic). Read this book if you are serious about unveiling the secret within yourself.
