Great Russians: Portraits and Beyond

The book Great Russians. Portraits and Beyond is based on the desire to facilitate a deeper awareness by creating whimsical illustrations with a personalized short biography of well-known influential Russians from Ivan the Terrible to Mr. Putin. People familiar with my work have expressed the need for a book articulating my heritage with amusing and easily understandable text. Though Russian emigration to North America has been steadily increasing due to the warming of the relationship between East and West, I realized how few Westerners had any sense of my culture.
