Hallucinations

Inspired Caribbean and North American culture, Hallucinations is a collection of poems sporadically written over a period of 15 years. The author uses creative wordplay and textual imagery to examine topics such as hope, faith, pain, love, nature, human interaction, life, living, and the art of poetry itself. It is not by accident that some of the verses included in this mini tome flirt with controversy and comedy simultaneously. Some of the poems are simple, some are abstract; some stay within the boundaries of poetic code, while others brazenly overstep the limits of poetry's laws in order to explicitly challenge the reader. Hallucinations ambitiously forces its audience to utilize the human mind en route to imagination.
