A great read...hilarious! Jan 17, 2009
By Christina Hill This is a hilarious and sometimes touching book that entertains from the first page. Matt Brown is a good storyteller whose accounts are laugh-out-loud funny. Ever wonder what happens when an officer puts a monkey in the front seat of his patrol car? Get the book...it's hysterical.
Great Read - "Hats and Ties" Aug 28, 2010
By TX Rich Probably one of the best books I've ever had the pleasure of reading; consequently, it not only offers great insight into police work, but life as well. Additionally - this book articulates a heartfelt wisdom for all to enjoy...
Outstanding, funny book. Jul 17, 2010
By jbullgpd I am probably biased on this but having been a cop, and having been a cop at that agency, I found this a great book. Matt told it how it is, no fluff. Anyone attached to public safety would enjoy this book I think.

By njgirl Excellent depiction of the police department. Honest, humorous, downright laugh out loud funny at times, but always from the heart!!! Can't wait for the sequel!
A Good Cop's Book Mar 25, 2009
By Dori This trip down memory lane is a funny, colorful, R-rated "ride-along" with one of the good guys. Officer Matt Brown tells it like it is and in his own gut-honest style. You'd be hard-pressed to find someone in law enforcement who can't relate. I'm looking forward to the sequel!
