4A good thriller  Dec 02, 2006
By Armchair Interviews
Avery Kane is living his dream, well...it might be turning into a nightmare! Avery has been renovating Gray Wolf Lodge bit by bit over years, adding amenities that rival that of the most luxurious resorts, building a faithful clientele at this rural Colorado lodge.

The construction crew hired to renovate the oldest section of the lodge into living quarters for some of the lodge employees has quit, leaving a trail of paranoia with their tales of ghostly apparitions and paranormal activities.

Avery has dismissed it as 'mountain superstition coupled with laziness,' attempting to finish the work himself in time to house his newest employee, Olivia Havermill, a nurse practitioner and her two children.

Olivia barely arrives when she's called to an emergency--Avery Kane has fallen after experiencing symptoms that don't make medical sense, attributing them to low blood sugar. But, Avery is beginning to understand that the source of his problems is much more sinister and potentially damaging to everything and everyone he holds dear.

With breath taking (or "breath seeing," an inside joke from the book)

excitement, this thriller will captivate your imagination as well as your heart.

Armchair Interviews says: A good read.
