His Living Teachings Support My Modern Life: Gospel Relevance in the 21st Century

In this first century of the third millennium, we may struggle to find modern relevance in the seemingly ancient teachings of Jesus Christ. This struggle is compounded by all of today's competing interpretations and opinions of what Jesus 'really meant,' especially when each of the multitude of voices claims his or her interpretation is the 'right' one. If we accept that Jesus' words are living teachings, that they have modern relevance to us collectively and individually, we will become the 'pure in heart, for [we] will see God' (Mat 5:8). This book illustrates how Christ's living teachings have blessed the author's life through practical exploration of the Gospels. The author claims nothing other than the truth that God is present in his life, supporting him in numerous magnificent ways and has faith that the reader will be encouraged to explore how these living teachings have personal relevance, yet in complete alignment with God's grace for us all.
