Homecoming

HOMECOMING is a story about family, football, and tradition. Homecoming is a special day for Justin Jumpers and Papa. Autumn colors unfold across the campus and the crowd gathers for the big football game. The smell of tradition is in the air. Nestled snugly in his tree top seat, Justin shares a bag of acorns with Papa and learns that home is a place that will always be there for him.

5Great for Kids  Oct 19, 2006
By Andrew Ellenthal
Usually getting all my kids to sit still and read a book can be a challenge. Homecoming had them from the first page and illustration. They were especially captivated by Justin the squirrel.

A cute story about growing up that your little ones will really enjoy.

5A beautiful book about exploration  Oct 17, 2006
By Christopher Saridakis, CEO PointRoll, Inc.
This a great tale for parents to share with their children. It teaches children that exploration is a good thing for children to do, while knowing that the "home" will always be there as a safe haven. Rob Clark's illustrations are also very inviting and full of expression.

I hope you enjoy it as much as I have with my children.

5Excellent story  Jan 06, 2007
By Brian J. Fitzgerald
Homecoming is a truly heatwarming tale that will be enjoyed by young and old alike. It perfectly captures the feeling of spending a cool autumn day with one's family. We all loved it.

One problem. My youngest son Junebug gets so carried away he starts scurrying around the family room like he's Justin Friggin' Jumpers!

5Home is where the acorns are  Nov 13, 2006
By James Enright
My 5 & 6 year-old kids love this book. No matter how often I explain it to them, they are intrigue by the words "tradition" and "homecoming". We'll be visiting their grand-parents over the holidays and each will better understand the importance of our extended-families' traditions thanks to this book. I enjoyed it so much; I bought two more copies to give to my former grade school and my 2 year-old's preschool. I highly recommend.
